The Müggelturm is a tower in Berlin, Germany. It is located on the so called kleiner Müggelberg (small Müggelhill), next to the Müggelsee in Köpenick.

1889, the tower was built of wood, in a chinese pagoda-style. It was 27 m tall and offered a good view on the surrounding forrests, the Müggelsee and the silhouette of Berlin. Hence, it quickly became a popular destination for excursions.

The tower survived the First and Second World War, but eventually burned down on May 19, 1958. Soon, the reconstruction began and many residents supported it with donations and voluntary work, and on December 30, 1961, the new tower was finally inaugurated. Being a rather bare Plattenbau building, the new tower is often regarded as less attractive as the old one, but is still popular among excursionists. It is 29 m tall, consists of 9 floors and has a viewing platform on the top.

Currently, the condition of the tower is not very good; rust and moisture are damaging the building. There have been efforts to renovate the building, but the restaurant area's situation is still bad and it might not be repairable anymore.
