The Spiral Galaxy M96 (also known as Messier Object 96, Messier 96, M96, or NGC 3368) is a spiral galaxy in the Leo constellation. It was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781. M96 is the brightest member of the M96 group of galaxies, which is sometimes known as the Leo I group.
