Madurai T N Seshagopalan
Sri Madurai T.N. Seshagopalan was born at Nagapattinam in 1948. He is one of the celebrated Carnatic musicians and composers. His initial musical trainer was his mother and then he learnt music from Sri.Ramanathapuram C. S. Sankarasivan . He has served as professor of music at Madurai University . He is also well versed in playing veena and harmonium.

- GANA BOOPATHI by the Tamil Sangam of Olavakod in 1967.
- KALAI MAAMANI by Tamil Nadu Govt. in 1984.
- ISAI SELVAM by Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Mr. Karunanidhi.
- SANGEETHA KALA SAAGARAM by Sri Jayendra Saraswathi of Kamakoti
