Magic Carpet (video game)

Magic Carpet is a computer game released by Bullfrog Productions in 1994.

The player plays a wizard (on a magic carpet) flying over water and mountains while destroying monsters and computer controlled players and collecting "manna". The more manna you have, the more advanced spells you will be able to cast. Spells include: fire balls, building a castle, earthquake, fly very quickly,... The magic carpet can move in 3 dimensions, it is not very easy to control, it's impossible to crash. But if you have problem controling the carpet you will soon be killed by monsters or others players, which is not that bad because if you have a castle, you will reapear there. That means if you want to kill definitly another player you will need to kill him and destroy his castle at the same time!
