Magpie River (Ontario)
The Magpie River is a river in the Algoma District of northern Ontario, which empties into Michipicoten Bay on Lake Superior near the town of Wawa. The river drains an area of about 1,900 kmē.
The Michipicoten River flows into this river not far from its mouth.
There are a number of scenic waterfalls on the river. There are also several hydroelectric plants on the river; the largest is located at Steephill Falls.
