Maltese nobility

The Maltese nobility consist of those titles of nobility recognised by the British and those titles never presented to, or failed recognition by, the Royal Commission, even though the titles were of historical relevance. (See Committee of Privileges of the Maltese Nobility.)

Titles consist of princes, marquises, counts, barons and hereditary knighthoods from the Holy Roman Empire, and patricianships from Italian states.
