Manfred Rommel
Manfred Rommel (born December 24, 1928) is a German politician (CDU), who was Mayor of Stuttgart from 1974 until 1996.
He is the only child of the WWII Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. He was famous for allowing the bodies of Red Army Fraction members who have committed suicide in prison be buried together in Stuttgart despite fears that the grave could turn into a rallying point for socialist activists.
