Margaon

Margao, Goa's biggest city, is the commercial capital of the state. Margao is the administrative headquarters of South Goa District. Located in the southern part of the region, it is the most important railway junction positioned at the intersection of the Konkan Railway and the Western Railways. About six kilometers away from the famed Colva beach, Margao is a favorite tourist destination for many western tourists.
