Margaret Scudamore
The actress Daisy Scudamore was born in Portsmouth on 13th October (1884 and died in London on 5th October 1958) began in ingenue roles. She married the actor Roy Redgrave (1871-1922) in 1907 and their son Sir Michael Redgrave carved a distinguished cinema and theatre career. Her grandchildren Corin, Lynn and Vanessa Redgrave and great-grandchildren Jemma Redgrave, Joely and Natasha Richardson have successfully followed the family tradition. Upon her second marriage to J.P.(Andy) Anderson, by whom she had a daughter Peg, she adopted the name of Margaret Scudamore and continued acting in character roles.
