Marinus van der Goes van Naters
Jonkheer Marinus van der Goes van Naters (December 21, 1900 in Nijmegen - February 12, 2005 in Wassenaar) was a Dutch politician. He was member of the Dutch lower house from 1937 to 1967 and in-parliament chairman of the Social Democratic parties SDAP and its successor the Partij van de Arbeid from 1945 to 1951. From 1940 to 1944 during World War 2 he was held hostage by the German occupiers including in Buchenwald concentration camp. At the time of his death at the age of 104 he was the longest lived politician of the world.
