Marrina

(Redirected from Marrina (comics))

Marinna was a member of the fictional Canadian superhero group known as Alpha Flight, and was a member of the alien species known as the Plodex. In the ocean for thousands of years, the egg containing the genetic material that would become Marinna became water permeable, which was responsible for her adaptations to aquatic environments. When the egg found its way to the surface and into human hands, the genetic code of the human being who touched it was added to the Plodex DNA, giving Marrina her female humanoid appearance. She later married Namor the Sub-Mariner after being a member of Alpha Flight for some time, but the Plodex DNA ultimately made her a savage beast, and Namor was forced to slay her with the Black Knight's ebony blade.
