Martian spherules
Martian spherules are the abundant spherical hematite inclusions discovered by the Mars Rover MER-B (Opportunity) at Meridiani Planum on the planet Mars. They are found in situ embeded in a sulfate salt evaporitic matrix, and also loose on the surface.
