Mary Immaculate College, Limerick
Mary Immaculate College, Limerick (Mary I or MIC), established in 1898, is linked to the University of Limerick since 1991. Formerly a dedicated primary teacher training college, it expanded in 1992 to run the University of Limerick's Liberal Arts programme, while continuing to run both undergraduate and, more recently, postgraduate courses leadng to primary education practice with a Roman Catholic ethos. It also has developed resources for Masters and Doctoral research postgraduate programmes. The college is located in south Limerick City, Ireland.
