Maryland Transportation Authority
The Maryland Transportation Authority is the division of the Maryland Department of Transportation that operates the several toll facilities in the State of Maryland. The Authority also finances and constructs capital projects to improve Maryland's transportation system, including terminal facilities at the Port of Baltimore and the Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The Authority provides law enforcement at the port and airport facilities as well as the toll facilities that it manages including their surrounding infrastructure.
