Mateo Albéniz
Mateo Albéniz (1760 - 1831) - no relation of Isaac Albéniz - was a Spanish composer and priest.
Albéniz wrote chiefly for the harpsichord and pianoforte (piano). The only work of his which has any currency today is the Sonata in D major, of which a popular transcription for guitar has been made.
