Mayim Bialik
Actress Mayim Bialik (born December 12, 1975 in San Diego, California, USA) is probably best known for her lead role in the NBC television series Blossom. In 1989, she also won the Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Fantasy", for her role in Beaches (1988). After the end of Blossom, she took time out from acting to attend UCLA, where she earned a doctorate in Neuroscience. After over ten years away from acting, Bialik has completed shooting on a new feature film, Kalamazoo? due for release later this year.
