Mediumwave transmitter Bremen
The mediumwave transmitter Bremen is a 1999 established medium wave transmitter at Bremen-Oberneuland. Its construction was necessary, because the old transmitter at Bremen-Lehe was not usable any more, because of ecological reasons. The mediumwave transmitter Bremen uses as aerial a reusen aerial, which is mounted on a 45 metre high guyed grounded steel framework mast. This aerial has a high gain of 4.5dB, which means that the 50 kilowatt transmitter brings the same effiency as a 140 kilowatt transmitter.
