Mehmet Erte
Mehmet Erte is a contemporary Turkish poet. (Izmir, 1978- ) A graduate of Physics, his first poem titled "Yıldırımları Beklemek" was published in Varlık magazine in 1999. Erte’s works of poetry, articles, translations and interviews were published in magazines like Varlık , Kitap-lık , E, Yasakmeyve and Akşam-lık . In 2003 Erte got the Yaşar Nabi Nayır Poetry Awards , and published his first book of poetry titled "Suyu Bulandıran Şey "
