Meiken Jolie

Meiken Jolie, also known as Belle and Sebastian, was an anime about a boy and his dog that aired on Nickelodeon starting in 1984. It was based on Belle et Sébastien , a children's book by French writer Cécile Aubry .

Premise

Sebastian lived with his grandfather and aunt in Spain. Along with his dog, Belle, Sebastian crossed the Pyrenees Mountains to get to France to find his his mother, a Rom.
