Mejiro Station
Mejiro Station (目白駅) is located inside Tokyo's Toshima ward in the Mejiro district. It is a small station situated between bustling Ikebukuro and relatively quiet Takadanobaba. Mejiro Station was recently renovated and is one of the cleanest stations in Tokyo. On the station's right is Gakushuuin University and Mejiro Elementary School, and to the left is a row of shops and restaurants. By looking straight ahead from Mejiro Station's main exit, one can see far into the horizon, a rare sight in downtown Tokyo.
Opened on March 16th 1885, it is now used by about 40,000 passengers each day.
Lines
Mejiro Station is only served by the JR Yamanote Line.
