Melnik
Melnik (bulgarian: Мелник) is the smallest Bulgarian town located in the Blagoevgrad district at the foot of the Pirin mountain. It was once a thriving city, but fell into decline after the Greek and Turkish populations migrated to their homelands. It was, and still is somewhat, famous for its wine, reportedly a favorite of Winston Churchill.
Mělník is also a town in the Czech Republic, on the Labe river.
