Meneng
Meneng (or Menen) is a district and constituency in the country Nauru. In this district is the Menen Hotel, the more expensive of the island's two tourist institutions (there's a youth hostel in Aiwo). Near the hotel is Anibare Bay.
Other locations in Meneng include:
- the wireless station
- the State House (presidential residence; recently burned down)
- the Government Printing Office
- the Menen Stadium (under construction)
The district is located in the southeast of the island, covers an area of 3.1 km² and has a population of 1400. It returns 2 members to the Nauruan Parliament in Yaren.
