Michael Ball (footballer)
Michael Ball (born 2 October, 1979 in Liverpool, England) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Scottish Premier League team Rangers.
He joined Everton as a youngster and played in first match in season 1996/97. His solid performances for Everton earned him an England call-up in February 2001 where he played against Spain. He earned himself a move to Scottish giants Rangers in a £6.5 deal, the second highest ever transfer fee for the Scottish side.
