Michael Dokes
Michael Dokes is an American boxer in the heavyweight division, nicknamed "Dynamite".
Dokes turned professional in 1976 and first came to prominence in 1979 when he defeated veteran contender Jimmy Young. Dokes became champion in 1982 by knocking out Mike Weaver, but his glory was short-lived due to personal problems. Dokes was unable to fight for several years due to a problem with cocaine and was unable to make a successful comeback in the ring. Dokes was eventually sent to prison on assault charges.
