Michael Umaña
Michael Umaña (born July 16, 1982 in San José, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican soccer defender, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.
Prior to coming to the Galaxy, Umaña played for Club Sport Herediano. He played for the Costa Rican national team on various youth levels, and was part of their squad at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Umaña has recently been a part of the senior squad for the 2006 World Cup Qualifying.
