Microdrive
The name Microdrive has been used to designate data storage devices. There are at least two (completely unrelated) devices bearing this name:
- A tape-loop storage system from the 1980s, used in Sinclair Research's ZX Spectrum and Sinclair QL home computers. See ZX Microdrive.
- A miniature hard disk drive device from the late 1990s, originally developed by IBM, in the CompactFlash II format. See Hitachi Microdrive.
