Milkman

Milkman is a man who delivers milk early in the morning. Originally milk needed to be delivered to houses on a daily basis as poor refrigeration meant it would quickly spoil. The ubiquity of fridges in the developed world has reduced this practice as it is expensive and the milk is prone to theft. Despite this the enterprise is still common in the UK and Ireland. A milkman's transport, a milkfloat is an electricity-powered vehicle.
