Miltenberg is a town in Franconia ( Bavaria, Germany). Miltenberg is famous for being a regular stop of Frederick I, a famous Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (though it may just be a legend).
In the Roman times, the limes passed through the vicinity, and there is a castellum at Miltenberg. The "Gasthaus zum Riesen" in Miltenberg claims to the be oldes hotel and resaturant in Germany.
