Milwaukee School of Engineering
The Milwaukee School of Engineering is a university located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In general conversation the university is often referred to by its acronym, MSOE.
The school has an enrollment of approximately 2,600 students as of 2005.
History
Milwaukee School of Engineering was founded in 1903 by Oscar Werwath and initially called School of Engineering of Milwaukee. Werwath was the first person to plan an American educational institution based on an applications-oriented curriculum.
