Mental-skill game
(Redirected from Mind sport)
A game of mental skill (sometimes called a mind sport) is a game where training of muscles and skill in controlling them offers insignificant advantage, and mental abilities are paramount.
The Mind Sports Organisation promotes the concept that developing excellence in such activities deserves respect similar to that traditionally accorded to sports, in line with the dictum of Plato:
- The contestant in mental games must train for battle with just as much care as the athlete.
