Mishima Style Fighting Karate

A variant of Karate used by characters in Namco's fighting game series Tekken by characters belonging to the Mishima family, a powerful clan which controls the Mishima Zaibatsu (financial empire).

Drawn from such real-life disciplines such as Go Ju Ryu Karate and Shotokan Karate, Mishima-Ryu emphasizes fast, powerful moves and evasive movement such as the crouch dash. Signature Mishima moves are Twin Pistons, Hell Sweeps, Electic Wind God Fist, Thunder God Fist, Demon Slayer, Tsunami Kicks, Splits Kicks, and Shining Fists.

*Devil appears in Tekken 1 for the Sony Playstation, but he does not appear in the arcade version.
