Moldavian Democratic Republic
Moldavian Democratic Republic was declared on January 24, 1918 by the National Council (Sfatul Ţării ) of Bessarabia created after the Russian Revolution.
On April 9, 1918 the Sfatul Tarii voted in favor of unification with Romania with 86 votes in favor, 3 against and 36 abstained. The union was confirmed in the Treaty of Paris (1920).
