Monica de Bruyn
Monica de Bruyn (b. 1977) is a foreign policy and defense commentator and analyst. She specializes in transatlantic relations and United States military policy. She works and lives in both New York City and The Hague.
De Bruyn has been a journalist, and now (as of 2005) works as a translator (fluent in English, French and Dutch) and writes for political party magazines in the Netherlands and websites in the United States. She is generally of conservative orientation, having supported the re-election of President George W. Bush in 2004, and she is in touch with former Republican presidential candidate Patrick J. Buchanan.
De Bruyn's book Mission Accomplished is scheduled for release in the summer of 2005. The former Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, worked with her on the book.
