Montezuma (opera)
Montezuma (Drama per musica)
Opera by Antonio Vivaldi in three acts based upon Girolamo Giusti 's libretto. Its opening was on 14 november , 1733 in the Sant'Angelo theater of Venice. Alejo Carpentier's novel Concierto barroco (1974) draws into the opera story and characters.
In 1992, Maté Rabinovski directed a version for TV screening.
