MRC or MRU?
With the growing size of the City of Calgary it has been suggested that a second University be constructed to better accommodate students; Mount Royal has shown interest in becoming a University. However such action requires the approval of the Alberta Government which is not likely under the current government. Although Opposition Leader Kevin Taft has promised to make Mount Royal College into a University.
