Mr. Creosote

Mr. Creosote (played by Terry Jones) was an fictional character in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life who dined at a French restaurant. Morbidly obese, he ordered large amounts of food, vomiting profusely. Finally after being persuaded to eat a "wafer thin mint", he exploded.

It can be argued that the scene was one of the most repulsive in 20th century cinema. Quentin Tarantino has confessed to being nauseated by this scene, but critics with stronger stomachs have praised its dark humour. It was filmed in the Porchester Centre, a public building owned by the City of Westminster on Porchester Road, London W2.
