Mu Draconis
Mu Draconis (μ Dra / μ Draconis) is a binary star in the constellation Draco. It is sometimes known by the traditional name Arrakis.
Each component is of spectral class F7V and visual magnitude 5.8. Their combined magnitude is 4.92. It is located approximately 85 light years away and consists of two almost identical yellow-white stars in a close orbit.
"Arrakis" is derived from Arabic ar-raqiş "the dancer".
"Arrakis" is the star system in which the novel Dune from Frank Herbert is set.
