Muhlenberg College
Muhlenberg College is a private liberal arts college founded in 1848. Muhlenberg is located in the picturesque west end of Allentown, Pennsylvania and employs nearly 200 full-time faculty members. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, but has a religiously diverse student body.
The College has 2100 full-time students and holds national recognition for its English, psychology, science, and theatre/dance programs. Historically, the College is among the nation's leaders in graduate, law and medical school acceptance rates.
The College's name honors Henry Muhlenberg, patriarch of the Lutheran Church in America.
Famous alumni
- Richard Ben-Veniste, attorney, lead prosecutor in the Watergate case and Democratic counsel in the Whitewater hearings.
- Kam-Kam Cheng, singer/actress, female lead in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon.
- David Fricke, writer, senior editor of Rolling Stone magazine.
- David Massenheimer, actor, male lead in the Broadway production of Les Miserables.
