Mukluk
Mukluks are a soft boot made of reindeer skin or sealskin and worn by Eskimos. They weigh little and allow hunters to move very quietly.
Mukluks may be adorned with pom-poms and beads and lined with furs such as rabbit.
Mukluks have become an upmarket fashion item in the U.S. and Europe. Notable wearers of mukluks include supermodel Kate Moss and movie actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
