Murmur
Murmur has a number of meanings, including the following:
- Murmur, demonology, is a Great Duke and Earl of Hell
- Murmur in Latin means noise, whisper, murmur, and the sound of the trumpet.
- Murmur, in common usage, means a soft-sounded and quiet utterance
- Murmur is an album released by the band R.E.M. in 1983.
- A heart murmur is a quiet sound emanating from the chest. Heart mumurs are caused by abnormal or pathological heart valves.
