Musquash River (Ontario)
The Musquash River is a river in west Central Ontario which splits from the Moon River at Moon Chute and flows west to empty into Georgian Bay.
Up until 1968, this river was considered to be a continuation of the Muskoka River.
Near the end of the 19th century, a lumber town called Muskoka Mills was located at the mouth of this river.
Musquash is a First Nations word meaning "muskrat".
