NRX-007 Correl

The Correl was one of the new mobile suits developed by the New Earth Federation in the anime series Gundam X. This suit was built with enormous speed and mobility. For this case a great part of the armament and other heavy parts were left out, which made the suit very light. But because of this the Correl couldn’t carry heavy weapons and so it’s only weapon was a beam knife.

One Correl was used by the psychopathic Demar Graif, who was assigned to this position by the Frost brothers, to fight against the Freeden crew and the stolen GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X. The battle took place in Berude, the capital city of the nation of Northernbell, where Shagia Frost lured Garrod Ran and his Double X in an enclosed town square. There Graif attacked but luckily Garrod blocked one of Graif’s knife attacks with his beam rifle and the Correl was thrown back by the following explosion. The Garrod attacked the Correl with his vulcan gun and because of its extremely light armor, the Correl was destroyed.
