Neopsychoanalytic school
The neopsychoanalytic school of psychology was founded by Carl Jung in reaction to Freud's psychoanalytic school. Jung seemed to feel confined by what he believed was Freud's narrow, reductionistic, and rigid view of libido. Instead, in Jungian psychology, he emphasized symbolism, in particular archetypes.
