Neris
Neris (The Lithuanian name; within the territory of Belarus it is called Ві́лія (Viliya, Vilia); and the Wilia in Polish language) is a river rising in Belarus, flowing through Vilnius (Lithuania) and becomes a tributary of the Neman River (Nemunas) in Kaunas (Lithuania). The length is 510 km.
Neris connects two old Lithuanian capitals - Kernave and Vilnius. Along its banks were burial places of the pagan lithuanians. 25 km from Vilnius there are the old burial mounds of Karamzynai . There are many mythological stones, and a sacred oak.
