New Bark Town

New Bark Town is the town in which players start their journeys in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Players receive their first Pokémon in this town. They have a choice three Pokémon, which are Chikorita (Grass), Cyndaquil (Fire), or Totodile (Water). It is also where they receive their PokéGears , as well as see their rival for the first time. To the west is Cherrygrove City, and to the east is the vast Kanto region from Red, Blue, and Yellow. New Bark Town also is the home of the famous Professor Elm, as well as the player and his or her mother.
