Newstead Wood School for Girls
Newstead Wood School is a selective all girls secondary school in Orpington, England. The heavily oversubscribed school is regularly one of the country's top achieving state schools. The head teacher is Elizabeth Allen.
The school's motto is 'Fortitudine Crescamus' ('in strength, we grow'). The school was originally founded as Orpington Girls Grammar School in 1957.
The school has strong links with nearby St Olave's Grammar School.
