Nexu

Nexus are fictional animals of the Star Wars universe native to the planet of Indona , possessing tooth-filled maws that cover most of their semi-circular heads. They are covered in tan-brown fur, which helps them blend into the background of their native forests. The four-legged carnivores have four eyes also, as the second set, situated next to the first, can see in infrared to find hidden prey.

A Nexu was bent on killing Senator Padme Amidala in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, but it was killed by Anakin Skywalker on his rampaging reek.

These montrous beasts are also imported by such planets as Malastare and Geonosis for executions and to keep unwanted visitors out.
