Nguyen Khoa Nam
General Nguyen Khoa Nam was born on 23 September 1927, Da Nang, Vietnam. In 1939, he was enrolled at Ecole des Garcons in Danang and graduated in 1939.
He attended Thu Duc Military Academy and graduated in 1953, and was assigned to a Airborne Unit.
He served in various position within the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, he was a Lieutenant in a Airbone unit, a Company Commander at 7th Airborne Battalion, a Major in commanded of 5th Airborne Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel in command of 3rd Airborne Brigade, Colonel of 3rd Airborne Brigade, Brigadier General of 7th Division, Major General of 4th Corps/4th Tactical Region,
His decorations were the National Order of Vietnam Fourth Class medal and National Order of Vietnam Third Class medal .
On April 30, 1975, General Nguyen Khoa Nam died from a self-inflicted gunshot to his head. The following day he was was buried at the Can Tho Military Cemetary.
