Nicolette Palikat
Nicolette Palikat, or better known as "Nikki", is a Malaysian singer from Tambunan , Sabah. She travelled to Kuching, Sarawak to audition for a spot on Malaysian Idol, and is now a contestant on the show. She managed to remain in the top twelve position but then she got voted out on September 12, 2004. Fans, judges, and the other contestants were in shock and tears after receiving the results. Her plan now is to pursue a degree before doing anything else. She has a talent of hitting the high notes when singing the song "Emotions" by Mariah Carey.
Her surname means "blocks" in Finnish.
