Nissan QG engine
The QG engine is a 1.3 L, 1.5 L, and 1.8 L straight-4 piston engine from Nissan. It is a lean-burn aluminum DOHC 4-valve design with variable valve timing and optional NeiDi direct injection.
QG18DD
The 1.8 L QG18DD produces 130 hp.
It is used in the following vehicles:
- 1999-2004 Nissan Sunny
QG18DE
The 1.8 L (1769 cc) QG18DE is built in Aguascalientes, Mexico . Bore is 80 mm and stroke is 88 mm. It has an cast iron engine block and aluminum DOHC cylinder heads. It uses SFI fuel injection, and features forged steel connecting rods, a one-piece cast camshaft, and a cast aluminum intake manifold.
